While traditional incubators cost thousands of dollars, the Embrace incubator costs only $500 (covers production, shipping, and training).
What’s happening in Sudan:
UN data indicates that 1.3 million babies were born in Sudan in 2024, and 2025 will likely see the same. Before the current humanitarian crisis, Sudan had an estimated 6,500 primary healthcare facilities and 300 public hospitals across the country.
World Health Organization estimates 70-80% of health facilities in areas worst affected by the Sudan civil war conflict are now barely operational or closed.
The Sudan Neonatal Health Association has stated that they desperately need incubators.
How the incubator works:
Unable to thermo-regulate their temperature, keeping preemies warm is critical. Get a preemie past the first 30 days, and their chance of survival radically improves.
